What does the ‘Get commercial register extract’ task do?

Lokbox searches Switzerland’s Central Business Name Index (ZEFIX) for the company you need, retrieves the official ZEFIX register data and provides it to you in a structured format that can also be saved as a PDF.

What does the ‘Create a client from the commercial register’ task do?

Lokbox reads the official core data (company name, legal form, address, UID and authorised signatories) from the commercial register and creates a structured client profile for you to review and confirm before saving. You do not have to type the data in manually.

What does the ‘Open client invoices (bexio)’ task do?

Through the official interface, Lokbox retrieves all unpaid invoices for a client from your bexio account and lists them clearly with invoice number, customer, amount and due date.

What does the ‘Read a QR invoice’ task do?

Lokbox reads the QR code and payment section of a Swiss QR invoice and extracts the payment details (recipient, IBAN, amount, reference and additional information) in a structured format — ready for your review and further processing.

What is the status of deadline extensions?

A controlled pilot phase for deadline extensions is being prepared.

How do I connect bexio to Lokbox?

You can set up the connection on the ‘Connectors’ page with one click. You are redirected securely to bexio to grant access through the official interface. You can revoke this permission in bexio at any time.

What is ZEFIX and do I need a login?

ZEFIX is Switzerland’s official Central Business Name Index. Because it is a public register, Lokbox does not need a login. Queries are free and do not require registration.

Data security & login security level

Are my client data secure with Lokbox?

Each workspace is enforced separately on the server and monitored by CI checks; additional database policies are in progress. Lokbox uses only official programming interfaces (APIs) and encrypted Swiss data centres (Supabase in Zurich). Your data are not used to train public AI models. Client data are hosted in Switzerland (Zurich); production data also remains in Frankfurt (DE) until 22 August 2026. SOC 2 certification is not part of the current pilot.

What happens with login barriers or two-factor authentication (2FA)?

Lokbox automatically pauses execution and asks you for help through the dashboard (‘Takeover’). You log in yourself in the secured live stream. Your login credentials and 2FA stay with you.

When do I need to confirm a task manually (HITL approval)?

Nothing is sent without your approval. You make the final submission yourself. Lokbox does not initiate payments.
